Newsletter Intake

A personal utility

Terms of use

Effective October 30, 2026

Purpose and availability

Newsletter Intake is a single-user utility for organizing selected newsletters from a dedicated Gmail account into an owner-controlled private reading library. It is currently being set up. This website provides information about that workflow; it does not offer a public application, subscriptions, or account registration.

The utility is provided as available for personal use. Availability, compatibility with third-party services, and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed.

Authorized use

Only the owner of the dedicated intake account may authorize access to it. The utility must be used only with accounts and content the owner is entitled to access, and in accordance with applicable Google API policies and the terms of the relevant services.

The Gmail permission requested permits reading, composing, sending, and permanently deleting messages in the authorizing account. The owner is responsible for reviewing granted permissions, controlling authorized automation, and maintaining any desired backups.

Newsletter content and publishers’ rights

Newsletters and other retrieved materials remain subject to their publishers’ copyright, subscription terms, and other applicable rights. Newsletter Intake grants no rights to redistribute or publicly republish that content. The intended reading library is private.

Privacy and ending access

Data handling is described in the privacy policy. The owner can revoke Google access through Google Account connections and can delete source messages, private library copies, and stored credentials through their respective services.

Operator and changes

The utility is operated by its sole account owner. The owner-controlled support contact is configured on the Google OAuth consent screen. These terms may be updated as the personal workflow changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
